Their Story
Beatrice May Falloon (known as Aunty May or May) was born Beatrice May Ledger on the 11th July 1906 in Swalwell, Tyne and Wear, England. May Ledger left England in 1927 travelling to New Zealand where she lived in Upper Hutt for the rest of her life. She married Albert ‘Toby’ Ronald Falloon on the 21st August 1931 and had four children, Ronald Albert b: 23rd November 1931 d: 6th janurary 2009, Eunice May b: 28th December 1932, Elizabeth b 5th August 1935 d: 23rd November 2025 and June b: 12th June 1939 d: 12th June 1939 only 5hrs old. May died 2nd May 2001 at Somerset Rest Home in Trentham, Upper Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand.
