Please read these terms carefully before creating a memorial.

By creating a memorial on Bríogh, you retain full ownership of everything you submit. The story, the photographs, the memories — they are yours.
Bríogh is operated by Siorai Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Siorai Labs Ltd. References to “you” mean the person using the service.

By accessing briogh.com or submitting a memorial, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Bríogh. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Bríogh allows you to create digital memorials for people who have passed away. Using Fisceal AI technology, we extract structured information from the story you submit and generate a memorial page, a life timeline, a heritage map, and a GEDCOM family tree file.
The free Ember tier is provided at no charge. The Hearth (£40/year) and Dúchas (£75/year) tiers require payment by annual subscription.
You retain full ownership of the stories, photographs, and other content you submit to Bríogh. By submitting content, you grant Siorai Labs Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the memorial service.
You are responsible for ensuring:
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
Your submitted story is processed by Fisceal AI, which uses Anthropic’s Claude API to extract information and generate your memorial and family tree. By submitting a story, you consent to this processing.
We do not permit Anthropic to use your story to train their AI models.
Hearth and Dúchas subscriptions are billed annually. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on an annual recurring basis.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. If payment fails, your memorial will revert to the free Ember tier.
Bríogh memorials concern people who have passed away. You confirm that the primary subject of any memorial you create is deceased. Memorials about living persons are not permitted without that person’s explicit consent.
You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all content submitted.

Bríogh, Fisceal, Siorai, and all associated technology, design, and content are owned by Siorai Labs Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our permission.
GEDCOM files generated from your memorial are yours. You may download and use them with any compatible genealogy software. We do not claim ownership of the genealogical data extracted from your story.
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siorai Labs Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account and memorials at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, or for any reason with reasonable notice. On termination, your memorial content will be deleted within 30 days unless you have downloaded it.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
