Import your tree
Upload your GEDCOM file — or connect directly from your Bríogh memorial. Your ancestors’ places are extracted automatically.

Heritage Compass locates every place in your family tree — towns, villages, churches, fields — and maps them precisely. 1,529 locations ready in our test family tree.
Walk near a place
As you travel, the app monitors your location in the background. When you’re near a place your ancestor touched, it knows.
Hear their story
A personal narrative is spoken to you — who your ancestor was, what happened here, when they lived. On your iPhone, Apple Watch, or through CarPlay.
Deep Local Knowledge
Tap any location on the Heritage Map and discover every recorded connection your family tree holds for that place — births, marriages, burials, migrations. The depth of what you find depends on your own family history and how far back your records reach.
